The thickest fermented Cassava* roots wrap, This complimentary food from Congo is resulting from a long procedure of preparation, 3-5 days of fermentation and steam cooking. It texture softer than Bobolo and Chikwangue. It needs to be cooked steam or boiled to be enjoyed.
*Cassava roots also called Manioc is also commonly known as Yuca. This tuber is one of the richest source of carbohydrates. Cassava is full of minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, manganese, iron and potassium. It contains high amount of dietary fiber and it’s gluten free!
